About the client

Blogger-Bank was envisioned as an innovative platform to connect advertisers with influencers through task-based collaborations based on monetary or barter payments. The project was initiated by a duo of entrepreneurs based in Poland, with experience in luxury retail and influencer marketing. Despite their strong vision, their first attempt with another development team led to delays, technical inefficiencies, and a fragmented project.

From chaos to execution and results

The initial development partner delivered a prototype of the platform that was poorly built, using entry-level coding practices on Django. As the original team dispersed due to relocations and shifting priorities, the project was left in limbo, with the client searching for a reliable and capable team to step in.
We follow the best practices and high-quality standards used by big software companies, but without the slow processes and rigid rules at very friendly price rage. The success in this project was equally rooted in establishing clear communication with the client and maintaining agility throughout the process. We created a safe space for an open dialogue to bridge the gap between the client’s vision and the technical execution.
Initial consultation and audit
We began with a detailed audit of the existing platform. Our team reviewed the backend codebase, frontend implementation, and overall architecture to identify what could be salvaged and what required rebuilding. This phase was critical in setting realistic expectations and outlining the scope of work.
Building trust
Recognizing the client’s apprehensions from the previous developers, we provided a step-by-step roadmap, showing how we would address their pain points. By transparently sharing our process, estimated timelines, and the roles of each team member, we ensured they felt in control of their project.
Technical assessment and alignment
Initially, there were internal concerns within our team about continuing with the Django framework used in the original build, as our expertise lay in Java-based solutions. However, we adapted to the situation, bringing in experts to handle Django and combining it with scalable hosting on AWS.
Clear communication channels
We established regular check-ins with the client to discuss priorities, progress, and upcoming tasks. This was essential, as the client had a tendency to shift focus and priorities. Regular meetings helped create a sense of structure and kept the project moving forward.

Once we had a clear understanding of the project’s state and objectives, we adopted an agile approach, breaking the work into manageable sprints. This gave the client regular updates on progress and the flexibility to tweak requirements.
